Hey guys it's Hussnain here and this is my Opel Renault 3 Pro review this video was scheduled to drop on the official launch day but believe it or not I'm one of the first people to get my hands on it and I have been using it for about a month now first off let's get through the unboxing real quick when you open the box you have an envelope that houses the sim ejection tool or user guide you can see all the 4G LTE bands that it supports here including glue 4G band 28 Eclair TPU case we'll try this on in a bit we have the device wrapped in plastic this is the Aurora blue color let's see how well that case fits get a lot of rigidity on all corners look at that totally slammed by certified you get a 30 watt fast charger a USB type-c cable and a pair of earphones there's a film screen protector on here though you probably should take it out and use a glass one instead on the front you have a six point four inch full HD plus AMOLED display with 20 by 9 aspect ratio it's got a drawer poncho that houses a 44 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor on the back you have a quad camera set up is 64 megapixel main shooter a 13 megapixel telephoto lens and it megapixel ultra wide lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor on the left you have your volume rocker and a dual SIM tray that holds two SIM cards and an SD card on the right you have your power button I'm digging the little green accent here on the top you have your microphone on the bottom you have a speaker a USB type-c port a second microphone and a headphone jack let's take a look at the design it's a glossy and premium looking phone incredibly lightweight at first glance it looks like a classic glass and plastic sandwich but the back is actually plastic too you get Gorilla Glass 5 protection it is pretty slim great for one-hand type in very bright outdoors the peel shaped cutter doesn't get in the way too much while watching a video there's a camera bump on the back and it does disappear into the case the thick camera layout makes it look very 2020 and a bit more high-end than the vanilla Renault 3 which I also try it my hands on both a massive fingerprint magnets there's also that peel cut out versus drop not up front they both have similarities in terms of dimensions and general feel but in terms of aesthetics I think Renault 3 Pro has an upper hand here but do let me know which you prefer in the comments Renault 3 Pro comes with an under display fingerprint sensor and while the mechanism doesn't do well with locking and unlocking in quick succession it is pretty fast the phone just has to shake to reveal that fingerprint icon on the lock screen by shake I mean pick up your phone first there's also face on lock not as secure but it skips all the animation and you can set it to unlock right to your home screen on the software side Opel Renault 3 pro shipped with Android 10 and color OS version 7 slapped on top of it same as the Renault 3 I've gotten used to Colo s in the last couple of weeks and I'll see that it's a bit of a learning curve you get some blood worried about no annoying ads at all there are some pretty interesting features let's start with that elusive smart bar which you have to drag out by swiping left on it you will get the hang of it here you have quick tools and shortcuts to your apps maximum of 20 you can of course move things around to exactly where you want them there's also a setting to change the transparency of the actual bar I barely notice it as is it is a tall form so not having to reach all the way to the top to do a scream record may come in handy speaking of scream record there is a setting that lets you use your front camera while recording your screen maybe for gaming content I don't know moving on you get swipe gestures on here I've never been a fan of these I'm a good old virtual buttons kind of guy in the display settings you get dark mode which pretty much turns everything dark your interface notification drawer Instagram and even YouTube intuitively turns dark this is something that a lot of people use by default on AMOLED phones with the idea that they are saving battery life and I'm probably one of those people it is also easy on the eyes at night there's something called OASDI vision which makes everything slightly crispier I also leave this on by default because why not you get game space to boost game performances app cloner feature basically lets you sign into to Facebook and Instagram accounts maybe one for work on one personal use that way you avoid slip-ups and stuff you get themes and about eight phones to choose from for those who love to switch things up every now and then speaking of you can customize the icon style as well as change your home screen mode if you fancy an app drawer or you just prefer everything on the home screen always on display on deck lots to choose from digital analog or whatnot you can schedule what time you want always on display to show you the time because even if it's a Super AMOLED display it will tell on your battery life I got the 256 gig storage variant with 8 gigs of RAM and you get about 231 gigs of available storage about performance this uses the hell yo p95 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 gigahertz something about this chip made me underrated before I even got a chance to try it out and I was positively surprised by the speed of this guy in open multiple apps without lag slowdowns or anything that would suggest that it wasn't a flagship chipset in terms of speed it definitely feels faster than the Snapdragon 733 CPU and closer to what you get on the media tech g9 TT I also didn't get heated issues while running everyday apps definitely a performance beast as far as mid ranges go here's how the speaker compares side-by-side the Oppo Renault 3 when it comes to gaming as usual I play pop G on default settings which is HD graphics and high frame rates you can't get as high as HDR graphics but it ran pretty smoothly no lags or frame drops no excessive heating while gaming for long periods of time battery wise you get four thousand and twenty five million power battery on this light suite after a whole day of using mostly social media apps and a lot of gaming on Wi-Fi I got over ten hours of screen on time with seven percent left to spare great battery life for heavy users like me always ends up being more than sufficient for the average user who probably pushed through a day and a half I was totally and utterly blown away by the chatting speed it took me fifty three minutes to charge from zero to 100% get this it took 22 minutes to charge from zero to 55 percent which is less than the time it takes the average person to get ready for work or class you absolutely have to experience vogue charging technology you or yourself this much about the camera it's pretty feature-rich you get night mode time lapse and slo-mo I compared the camera to the vanilla Renault 3 outdoors you get really high quality selfies almost looks exactly alike but I think the Renault 3 pro handled exposure levels it's in a bit better with portrait mode you get decent face mapping on both I see some beauty softening going on on the Renault 3 Pro shot now the primary camera is not only very megapixel count but in image processing you get excellent dynamic range on both and using the telephoto lens for two times zoom you see a lot of details and a short Renault 3 being slightly warmer of course same can be said for the ultra wide-angle lens using the primary camera on a human subject we see similar results but you can see that the Renault 3 somehow handles exposure levels better with portraits mode both map out the subject pretty well but the Renault 3 subject appears way way over processed definitely requires a software update to fix this one there are some instances where the Renault 3 outside the Renault 3 Pro in those both actually looked pretty decent as with all smartphones mall equals better quality so bear that in mind the Renault 3 pro gives you better skin tones and truer to life colors that the Renault 3 portrait mode with indoor lighting isn't great on both the boat record videos in 4k but this is a 1080p recording of both with E is trondheim so this is the back camera of the Renault 3 and Renault 3 pro shooting in 4k do let me know what you think about the audio and video quality of both of these devices in the comments the Opera note 3 pro actually has a lot of hype to live up to coming from the Oppo Renault 2 series I personally prefer this design but even that is arguable in a few ways it's an upgrade for instance the camera and battery charging speed are better but in other ways the Renault two far outshines this guy like the build quality and of course a G cam compatible CPU G common enthusiasts would probably be better off with the Renault 2 moving from a snapdragon to immediate x'p is a bold move especially for this price bracket however all the power users work in class business savvy users who could care less about G cam have to know that this phone is a near flagship class performer and it's definitely worth considering as for the price dinner has been fluctuating throughout the course of my use but the dollar equivalent is about 515 US dollars and I'll be including the launch price in my paint comments it's available in all the major retail stores nationwide if you have any questions or you love to see a game and review do let me know in the comments
